HISTORY
Founded in Split in 1948, LAVČEVIĆ d.d. has grown into one of the country's leading construction companies, with a long track record of successful projects. While the company started out focusing on building construction, its expertise has expanded over the years to include a wide range of projects, from civil engineering to maritime infrastructure.
Over the decades, LAVČEVIĆ has adapted to changes in the industry and economy, but their commitment to high standards and quality work has remained consistent.
RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
During the era of rapid residential development in Split, LAVČEVIĆ built entire neighborhoods in the city, such as Sućidar, Bol, Split III, Visoka, Pujanke, and Žnjan. The company also extended its work to other cities, building thousands of apartments now recognized as symbols of high-quality construction.
PUBLIC FACILITIES
A key part of our business is undoubtedly the construction of public buildings. We've built numerous hospitals, schools, kindergartens, clinics, sports halls, shopping centers, and a wide range of tourist resorts and hotels. Some of our standout projects include the Zlatni Rat hotel complex in Bol on Brač, many hotels on Hvar and Korčula, as well as hotels in Split, the Dubrovnik area, and along the Makarska Riviera. Internationally, we've built Forum and Panorama hotels in Prague, as well as hotels in Moscow and Sochi on the Black Sea.
INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION
In the 1950s, industrial construction played a particularly significant role in our business. Early projects include challenging builds such as three cement factories, shipyards, and various other industrial facilities. More recently, our focus has shifted to developing factory halls and shopping centers built using modern prefabrication technology.

The company specializes in managing and executing vertical and horizontal construction projects. Alongside construction, they provide comprehensive engineering consulting services. This includes every step of the construction process: market analysis, proposal preparation, cost calculations, and detailed cost estimates, as well as managing subcontractor agreements and overseeing all phases of work at the construction site.

LAVČEVIĆ - MONTAŽNI ELEMENTI d.o.o. is part of the LAVČEVIĆ group, specializing in producing reinforced concrete components and tilt-up construction using their own technology. Tilt-up construction offers fast, dry assembly, allowing projects to continue smoothly even in winter months. Such structures are suitable for industrial halls, warehouses, agricultural and sports facilities, and more. The production facility in Split, located in Sirobuja, also manufactures various custom-made and non-standard components to meet unique project needs.
